Gynecomastia is an increase in the amount of breast gland tissue in boys or men, caused by hormonal imbalance. If the condition doesn’t respond to medical management, then surgery can be considered. The surgical procedure reduces the breast gland and fat by liposuction or excision of the gland tissue.
